Recently Google released latest Android version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Don’t know exactly when Samsung Galaxy Note will get this update. It will take some time. By that time, you can install it through the custom ROMs.
This latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is now available for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000. Along with official Jelly Bean features, will give you a unique experience for your mobile.

The given tutorial is strictly intended for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000. Applying these steps to any other models or US variant will give you unwanted results.
You should charge your device at least up to 70% so that installationprocess won’t get interrupted.
It is recommended that you should take a backup of all your important data such as SMS, MMS, APN, contacts etc. to the external memory since it gets vanished during installation.
You must have installed Clockworkmod recovery or TWRP recovery on your mobile. Without any custom recovery you can’t falsh ROM.
Procedure to install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy Note N7000:
first download Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Note N7000.
Connect your mobile to PC via USB cable. Enable mass storage mode. Copy both the downloaded files to the external memory card.
Now disconnect your mobile . You have to boot into the recovery mode. For that switch off your mobile, then press & hold volume up + home button + power buttonsimultaneously until you boot into the custom recovery. (You can release power button after Samsung logo appears but keep holding other two until recovery mode shows up).
Next steps is taking a nandroid backpup of current system. To do this, select backup & restore option in recovery menu and then click on backup in next step. This nandroid backu is saved in external memory card.
You will again see recovery menu. Now select wipe data/factory reset followed bywipe cache partition to wipe all the data & caches respectively from the phone memory.
After this select install zip from SDcard and then chose zip from SDcard. SelectAOKP ROM zip file which saved in the exetrnal memory. Confirm it by selecting yes in next step.
After successful installation you will see recovery menu again.
Now we have to install Gapps package. So again repeat above process i.e. Install zip from SDcard followed by chose zip from SDcard.
After successful installation of both the files, select +++++go back+++++ and thenreboot system now.
Good job! Your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 is now running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean custom ROM.
Tip: If you don’t like this ROM, then you can easily come back to the pevious system just by booting your device into recovery mode. Then select backup & restore option and selectrestore option. Chose your latest backup to restore.
